- Advised EPIC contractors during the installation of a 580MW offshore windfarm, including with regard to variations, re-measurement issues and default of a major subcontractor.
- Advised T&I contractors in a High Court dispute concerning the installation of metmasts in the Southern North Sea, including in relation to UXO delays, unexpected ground conditions and grouting issues.
- Advised contractors seeking emergency relief in ICC arbitration on a pipelay project in S. China Sea.
- Advised Charterers in LMAA arbitration following termination of a bareboat charter of a jack-up barge.
- Advised foundation installation contractors in a dispute concerning force majeure delay following a national strike in Colombia.
- Advised LNGC owners on boil-off warranty claims, including in relation to performance in the first performance period and related issues involving the shipbuilding contracts.
- Advised owners of a heavy transportation vessel on contractual and insurance issues following a crane collapse which damaged transition pieces in transit.
- Advised contractors in relation to the decommissioning of a damaged metmast (Moray).
- Advised contractor in relation to the decommissioning of an oil platform in north North Sea (safe access, variations).
- Advised in relation to a dispute concerning alleged deficient performance of an FPSO/its risers on a project in India.
- Advised suppliers of equipment incorporated into the turret of an FPSO following allegations of defects.
- Advised owners of an FPSO following loss of an umbilical and flow-line in deep water.
- Advised an oil products terminal on liability issues following the contamination of unleaded fuel which caused thousands of cars to break down across the South East of England
- Advised owners of livestock carriers following non-payment of hire and on withdrawal of the vessels from charter.
- Advised owners on the shipbuilding and charter terms in respect of newbuild LNG bunker vessels ordered by an oil major.
- Conducted legal due diligence exercise on charter terms of a fleet of regassification vessels.
- Advised an international contractor on the shipbuilding terms for a very large dual fuel Wind Installation Vessel including as to the terms of purchase, supply and installation of the main crane.
- Advised a shipyard in an LMAA dispute concerning a scrubber installation perfomed on the Repaircon form.
